About the event

National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD) is observed annually on February 7th to raise awareness about the disproportionate impact of HIV/AIDS on Black and African American communities in the U.S.. It encourages testing, prevention, treatment, and education, while fighting stigma.
