Dathon D. Brown, affectionately known as the “serenity keeper” is our Security Personnel. He is a native of Georgia, the only son of two children to Willie Brown and Gwendolyn Hill Brown. He has one sister. Maternally, has lineage linked to Native American Indian and Ashanti tribe of Ghana, Africa.
He is part of the “Gen-X” generation, has great interpersonal skills and gets along very well with others. Most of all, he is an expert at ‘keeping the peace.’ Mr. Brown attended elementary school in Albany,, GA, then went on to Oakcliff Middle and Sequoyah High School. Throughout his journey in school, he developed into a triple threat in sports as he played basketball, baseball and football. By the time he had reached high school, he had became a star player on both the basketball and football teams. In addition during this time, he was ranked the number one pitcher in the state of Georgia for little league baseball.
Graduating from Frederick Douglas high school, he was ranted the sixth player in the state during his senior year. Mr. Brown went on to be an International Professional Basketball player, where he was able to develop friendships with various cultures and ethnicities across our global society. He enjoys giving back to his community by coaching the youth and sharing valuable insight into the game of basketball and life.
He studied at Fort Valley State University, U.G.A. and currently attends Strayer University. He is a member of the Antioch Baptist Church North and he enjoys listening to music and relaxing. Collectively, Mr. Brown is athletic, handsome, spiritual, smart, sincere, strong, witty, confident and honest. He works and engages others with great integrity and understanding. He also enjoys helping others and doing the right thing right the first time!
